Step-by-step
1. Prepare the game (Total Battle)
Open Total Battle, remove all captains, and leave only Carter in the first position.
Then go to the Watchtower → Crypts tab → choose the crypt level you want to explore. In this example we will use an Epic Level 20 crypt.
- Whenever possible, select the third crypt by distance (#3). It’s less likely to be contested than #1 or #2.
- Set your game zoom to 25%.
- Keep the crypt as centered as possible on the screen.
2. Register the scan region in the app
Open Crypt Explorer and register the scan region.
The region should include at least one extra cell on each side of the crypt (around 9 cells total), keeping the crypt in the center.
- This matters because the crypt can be shifted by one cell if another object is nearby. The margin keeps detection stable.
- Once confirmed, the region is saved inside the app.
3. Record your route (one-time setup)
You must record the click path used for automation.
Click Start Recording and perform a full exploration cycle at a normal pace in this exact order:
- Go to the Watchtower
- Click the Watchtower
- Click the 3rd crypt option
- Click the crypt
- Click Explore
- Click Speed Up
- Speed up five times
- Close the speed-up window
- Move the mouse away and keep it still for 5 seconds (a prompt appears to name the route).
4. Required routes (Normal/Epic vs Rare)
You need separate routes depending on crypt type:
- One route for Normal and Epic crypts.
- A different route for Rare crypts, because you must open the crypt using a key during the recording flow.
5. Run the automatic explorer
Select the route (for example, the Epic route you just recorded).
In the bottom configuration area, the default cycle time is 40–45 seconds. This is intentionally set so Carter has enough time to explore and return to the city.
Enter how many crypts you want to explore.
- Use the built-in calculator if you want to estimate how many runs you can do with the oil available on your account.
6. Automatic recovery on failures
If an exploration fails—because another player explored the crypt first, or a monster/object blocks the position—the system automatically resets and continues until it finds the next valid crypt to explore.
FAQ
The route and timing are designed around Carter’s behavior. Additional captains can change the flow and cause failures.
Crypts #1 and #2 are usually more contested. Selecting #3 reduces the chance someone explores it first.
Detection and click positioning are calibrated for that zoom level. Changing it can misalign the region and clicks.
No. Once confirmed, the region stays saved until you change it.
Make sure the mouse stays still for the full 5 seconds and the game window is not covered.
The app detects the failure and resets the process to search for the next valid crypt.
Same behavior: the app resets and continues until a valid crypt is found.
